Terms and Conditions for wedding photography and videography:


A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is payable to secure the booking. The balance is due two weeks prior to the wedding date.


Rescheduled weddings will only be accommodated if the new date does not conflict with another booked wedding.


Hippo Productions Ltd will be the exclusive professional videographer. Friends and family are permitted to operate video cameras on the condition that they do not interfere with or get in the way of the professional coverage.


It is the client's responsibility to secure access to areas for Videography and or photography. Hippo Productions Ltd will not be responsible for coverage lost due to access restrictions.


Creative aspects such as shooting and editing style are at the discretion of Hippo Productions Ltd.


 Hippo Productions Ltd will not be held liable for any production problems beyond our control, e.g. bad weather, accidents, poor acoustics/lighting, interference from guests, etc.


Hippo Productions Ltd reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reasonable cause, e.g. accident or ill health. In this event all monies paid will be refunded in full.


Any liability on the part of Hippo Productions Ltd will be limited to the amount of monies paid.


Upon taking possession of the beta copy, the client must inform Hippo Productions Ltd of any technical or other problems with the video within 4 weeks in writing. After 4 weeks, if no notification has been received, the client will be deemed to be satisfied with the product.


Hippo Productions retains sole ownership of the copyright to any video, sound or photos it shoots at your wedding.


The client gives his/her permission for any video, sound and images taken by Hippo Productions to be used for promotional purposes on both our web site and social media page.


If the client does wish for the video and/or images to be used for promotional purposes then it must notify Hippo Productions in writing prior to the event.


It is agreed that the terms set out in the booking form is the total agreement made between the parties and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed by both parties in writing.
